In line with the global development agenda, the Rajgopal Foundation is committed to furthering Sustainable Development Goal 3 to ‘Ensure healthy lives and promote wellbeing for all at all ages’.
To ensure that everyone regardless of race, age, sex, economic status or sexual orientation have access to healthcare. We act to catalyse change in the way health care is provided and aspire to make universal healthcare a reality.
We adopt a multi pronged approach based on the principle of collective responsibility:
We provide surgeries for the knee joint and physiotherapy after surgery
We raise awareness of bone and joint health and strongly encourage daily exercise
We leverage our expertise in Arthritis and sports medicine to be a comprehensive information resource centre on bone/joint health issues.
Dr Ashok Rajgopal founded the Rajgopal Foundation in an effort to provide the economically weaker sections of society with access to surgical treatment for knee problems, narrow the gap in public understanding of bone and joint health and to actively promote sport and exercise.
Rajgopal Foundation is built upon a set of values which embody our philosophy, represent our way of thinking and guide our work. Our work is carried out with the following principles in mind: Integrity, Transparency, Fairness, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Innovation.
